Several studies show that the learning process with a metacognitive approach helps students develop their reflective thinking skills. One of IMPROVE syntaxes is asking questions. This study aims to describe influence model on students' mathematical abilities. For this reason, uses quantitative descriptive analysis techniques after comparing two groups data according non-equivalent control group design. The involved several class X IPA at MAN 2 Serang City as population consisting samples. collection technique Mathematical Reflective Thinking Ability Test (KBRM) instrument which contains six indicators. application model, based results study, was proven have positive and significant increasing Also, ability who apply in fairly good category, while ordinary poor category. achievement each indicator skills category question indicators, indicators not out total 6 questions
